Outside, paint fails where the prep was skipped. We wash the house, scrape what is loose, prime bare wood and seal the joints before the finish coats.

No loose ends handed off to you. The scope below is what your exterior painting project includes from start to finish.

Freeze, thaw, sun and rain find every weak spot. Scraping, priming and caulking first is what keeps the new paint from peeling early.
Sealed joints and coated end grain keep water out of the trim and siding, which is where rot usually starts.
Clean trim lines and an even color on the siding are the first thing a neighbor, guest or buyer notices.
We check every side of the house, including the spots you cannot see from the ground, and note peeling, bare wood and damaged boards.
The house is washed and left to dry. Then scraping, sanding, priming and caulking.
Siding and trim are coated by brush, roller or sprayer, depending on the surface, with the weather checked before each day's work.
Masking and covers come off, the yard is cleaned, and we walk the house with you before calling it done.
Exterior paint needs dry surfaces and mild temperatures to cure, so most outside work is scheduled from spring through fall. We plan around the forecast and do not paint over damp siding.
